KFC India has expanded its menu with the introduction of the Chatpata Chana burger, marking its first-ever vegetarian protein patty burger in the country. Priced at Rs 69, this innovative menu item combines KFC’s signature indulgence with a vegetarian twist, catering to consumers seeking both taste and nutritious options.

The burger features a chana-based patty seasoned with a blend of Indian herbs and spices. It is complemented by crunchy onions, creamy tangy sauce, eggless mayonnaise, and served on a wholesome seeded bun. The patty offers a crispy, golden texture while delivering a high-protein profile.

KFC has also ensured strict separation between vegetarian and non-vegetarian offerings. Dedicated processes are followed for preparing both categories, with separate oil, utensils, and ingredients. Employees handling vegetarian orders wear green aprons, while those in the non-vegetarian section wear red aprons, ensuring consumer trust and safety.

The Chatpata Chana burger is available at over 1300 KFC outlets across India, both for dine-in and takeaway. Customers can also order through the KFC app, website, or leading food delivery platforms. Pre-ordering is available via the app, allowing guests to skip queues and access the new offering seamlessly.
