
Juna Mahal Ranthambore has appointed Soumik Roy as General Manager, strengthening its leadership team as the property continues to scale operations in the luxury hospitality segment. The appointment brings in close to two decades of experience across hotel operations, pre-opening strategy, and food and beverage management.
Roy joins the property with over 19 years of experience, having worked with a range of hospitality brands across India and international markets. His previous associations include The Beatle Hotel Powai, Azaya Beach Resort Goa, ONYX Hospitality Group, The Lalit Mumbai, Marriott Suites Pune, Hard Rock Hotel Goa, Swissôtel Kolkata, Park Hyatt Chennai, Holiday Inn Resort Goa, The Park Bangalore, and Grand Hyatt Mumbai.
Prior to this role, he served as Pre-Opening General Manager and Corporate F&B Director at Planet Hotels & Resorts India, where he was involved in operational planning, pre-opening execution, and development of food and beverage strategies across properties.
Roy has worked on improving service delivery, streamlining operations, and building teams across functions. His experience in managing luxury properties and handling multi-department operations is expected to support the property’s next phase of development.
On his appointment, Roy shared that he looks forward to contributing to the property’s vision of delivering exceptional guest experiences while celebrating the heritage and natural beauty of Ranthambore.
