Restaurant India News: IHG Hotels & Resorts Signs Holiday Inn Resort Alwar, Expands Resort Portfolio in India

IHG Hotels & Resorts has signed a management agreement with Yash Hotels & Resorts LLP to develop a new Holiday Inn Hotels & Resorts property in Alwar. The upcoming Holiday Inn Resort Alwar is scheduled to open in the first quarter of 2030 and will mark IHG’s entry into the city, strengthening its presence in India’s growing leisure destinations.

Holiday Inn, one of IHG’s most well-known brands, is known for its reliable service and focus on comfortable, experience-driven stays. The resort is expected to cater to leisure travellers, weddings, and business groups visiting the region. The 150-room resort will be set against the scenic Aravalli Hills and is strategically located near key destinations such as Delhi NCR, Jaipur, and the Sariska Tiger Reserve. The property will include multiple dining options, resort-style amenities, and dedicated spaces for meetings and events, making it suitable for holidays, celebrations, and corporate gatherings.
