Restaurant India News: Hilton Opens DoubleTree by Hilton Bengaluru Airport, Its Largest Hotel in India

Hilton has opened DoubleTree by Hilton Bengaluru Airport, the brand’s largest hotel in India. With this launch, Hilton now operates seven hotels in Bengaluru, strengthening its multi-brand presence in the city across luxury, full-service, and focused-service segments.

Developed in partnership with the Dangayach Group, the hotel brings DoubleTree by Hilton to Bengaluru’s rapidly growing airport corridor. The opening highlights the city’s importance as a major commercial and technology hub in India. Located about 15 minutes from Kempegowda International Airport, the hotel is situated in the Aerospace Park. The location also offers easy access to IT hubs, industrial corridors, and emerging business districts.

Zubin Saxena, Senior Vice President and Regional Head, South Asia, Hilton, said, “Bengaluru continues to play a central role in Hilton’s growth story in India. The opening of India’s largest DoubleTree by Hilton in the region underscores our confidence inthe city’s potential. Our focus remains on expanding thoughtfully across gateway markets with the right brands. We are grateful to our long-standing partners, Dangayach Group, whose deep local expertise has been instrumental in driving this milestone opening.”

The hotel features 304 guest rooms and suites. Amenities include three dining outlets, an outdoor swimming pool with sunken cabanas, a spa, and a fitness centre. For meetings and events, the hotel offers over 9,185 square feet of event space, including two large ballrooms and multiple meeting rooms.

“As Hilton’s fastest growing brand in India, DoubleTree by Hilton reflects the strength of our full-service portfolio, delivering feel-good moments while remaining consistent with its focus on comfort, care and connection. We are bringing this to life with a genuinely warm welcome, comfortable accommodations and thoughtful amenities that help guests unwind, recharge, and feel at home,” added Vincent Ong, Vice President, Full-Service Brands, Asia Pacific, Hilton.

Food and beverage are a key focus at the property. Saus, the all-day dining restaurant, serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner with menus centered on house-made marinades, relishes, and seasonings. Brew33, the hotel’s lounge bar, offers coffee during the day and transitions into an evening space serving craft beers, cocktails, and bar snacks. Brew33 Express provides a quick grab-and-go coffee option for guests on the move.

Atul Dangayach, Managing Director, Dangayach Group, said, “The opening of DoubleTree by Hilton Bengaluru Airport marks an important milestone for us as we bring an internationally recognised hospitality brand to Bengaluru’s rapidly evolving northern corridor. Its proximity to the airport and substantial room inventory positions the hotel to support conferences, large-format meetings and transit-led stays, while its thoughtful design and amenities also cater to domestic travellers. Our continued partnership with Hilton reflects our shared vision for quality expansion and contribution to the growing hospitality demand in critical markets across India.”

Hilton currently has nearly 100 hotels in operation and development across South Asia, including 23 DoubleTree by Hilton properties. DoubleTree by Hilton Bengaluru Airport is part of the Hilton Honors loyalty programme.
