The Fern Hotels & Resorts, Series by Marriott International has rolled out a series of senior leadership appointments across multiple properties in Anjar, Calangute, Ganpatipule, Hatgad-Saputara, Kota, Patna, and Sakleshpur. The development signals a structured push towards performance-driven management, with a focus on revenue optimisation, cost control, and consistent guest experience across markets.

Yogesh Dhiman has taken charge as General Manager at The Fern Royal Farm Resort Anjar. With over three decades of industry experience, Dhiman will manage day-to-day operations, revenue performance, budgeting, and gross operating profit. His background spans hotel operations, sales, food trucks, delivery kitchens, and consultancy, with prior roles at Choice Hotels, Carlson Hotels, Sarovar Hotels & Resorts, and Royal Orchid Hotels. His appointment reflects a continued focus on scaling operational efficiency and market positioning in emerging hospitality clusters.

Pramod Tiwari has been appointed General Manager at Blue Ocean The Fern Resort & Spa Ganpatipule. Bringing over 19 years of experience, Tiwari will oversee Rooms Division, Food and Beverage, Sales and Marketing, Finance, and Human Resources. His previous associations include Lemon Tree Hotels and Le Méridien under Marriott International. His track record includes improving operational workflows and maintaining service benchmarks, with recognition through the Silver Certification by IHCL, Starwood Associate Care Award, and “Manager of the Year” at Lemon Tree Hotels.

Sanjib Sarkar steps in as General Manager at The Fern Residency Goa Calangute, bringing over 24 years of cross-sector experience. A graduate of the Institute of Hotel Management Catering Technology & Applied Nutrition, he has worked with IHCL (Taj Group), The Park Hotels, Hyatt International, and Carnival Cruise Line. His experience spans hospitality, cruise operations, retail, healthcare, and academics. During his career, he served former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee and received formal recognition for the same.

Molay Chatterjee has been appointed General Manager at The Fern Heaven on The Hills Hatgad-Saputara. With 26 years of experience, he will oversee operations with a focus on service delivery, team performance, and long-term business stability. His previous roles include leadership positions at Mahindra Holidays & Resorts India Ltd. and Chanakya Hotel Convention & Resorts, where he handled multi-property management and pre-opening projects. His career began with the Taj Group, and he has received the IGBC Platinum Award and RCI Gold Crown.

Virender Singh Shekhawat joins as General Manager at The Fern Kota with 19 years of experience. His role includes overseeing hotel operations, managing budgets, maintaining SOP compliance, and ensuring consistent guest experience delivery. He has previously worked with Azizaa Resort & Hotels Jaipur and Zone by The Park, where he contributed to operational streamlining and service consistency across departments.

Atish Kumar Singh has been appointed General Manager at Vaishnavi Beacon Hotel Patna. With over 18 years of experience, he will focus on operations management, sales strategy, and revenue growth while ensuring profitability and service standards. His past associations include Ramee Group of Hotels and Zone by The Park Patna, where he gained experience in pre-opening operations and revenue planning.

Nanda Kumar Konduru has taken over as General Manager at Tapovana The Fern Sakleshpur. With more than 18 years of experience, he will oversee end-to-end resort operations, including front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, and guest engagement. His professional background includes roles at Rosetta Hospitality and Radisson Hotel Group, with international exposure across Kigali, Maldives, and Fiji.

The appointments indicate a broader industry trend where hospitality operators are strengthening mid-to-senior leadership layers to handle rising competition, evolving guest expectations, and margin pressures. By placing experienced professionals across diverse markets, the group is aligning operational execution with business targets, particularly in leisure-heavy and tier-2 destinations where demand is growing steadily.
