Restaurant India News: Enrise by Sayaji Opens 30-Room Hotel in Latur’s Old MIDC Area

Enrise by Sayaji, Latur has commenced operations in the city’s Old MIDC Area, expanding branded hospitality supply in Maharashtra’s Marathwada region. The 30-room property is positioned to cater to business and industrial demand in Latur, which has evolved into a fast-growing tier-2 market driven by trade and manufacturing activity.

The launch comes at a time when Latur, with a population of 24.54 lakh people (Census 2011), continues to strengthen its role as a commercial centre in Marathwada. The district is recognised as one of India’s major soyabean trading hubs and houses 11 cooperative sugar factories, contributing to its identity as the “Sugar Belt of Maharashtra.” This industrial base has led to consistent demand for organised business hospitality infrastructure.

Enrise by Sayaji, Latur offers 30 rooms across three categories: 18 Deluxe Rooms, 9 Executive Rooms, and 3 Premium Executive Rooms. The inventory mix indicates a primary focus on corporate travellers while retaining flexibility for leisure and visiting executives.

The property also integrates meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions (MICE) facilities, with four banquet venues of varying capacities. Jewel, the largest space, can accommodate up to 700 guests in a theatre-style setup. Solitaire is positioned for mid-sized gatherings, Crystal is designed for corporate meetings and functions, and Connect operates as a boardroom for smaller discussions. This event infrastructure enables the hotel to tap into corporate events, training sessions, conferences and social functions, creating multiple revenue streams beyond room occupancy.

Food and beverage operations are supported by two multi-cuisine restaurants, Momentt and Horizon. These outlets are designed to serve in-house guests, corporate visitors and local residents, reflecting a strategy to build non-room revenue through destination dining in an industrial catchment.

Ajay Kanojia, Associate General Manager, Sayaji Hotels, said, “Latur represents the kind of high-potential market that aligns perfectly with our strategic expansion philosophy. Enrise by Sayaji, Latur is designed to meet the city’s evolving hospitality needs while bringing our signature ‘Yours Truly’ service ethos to the Marathwada region.”

Mayur Garje, Managing Director, Garje Unit, added, “We’ve witnessed first-hand the transformation of this district into a vital commercial centre, and we recognised the opportunity to create a hospitality destination that could serve this dynamic business ecosystem. Partnering with Sayaji Hotels allows us to bring world-class facilities and service standards to our city.”

From a location standpoint, the hotel is situated in the Old MIDC Area, close to major industrial estates. It is located 3 kilometres from Latur Railway Station and 120 kilometres from Solapur Airport, ensuring connectivity for business travellers accessing manufacturing and processing clusters in and around the district.

The opening reflects Sayaji Hotels’ strategy of expanding into emerging commercial centres where branded supply remains limited but demand fundamentals are strengthening. By combining limited inventory with large-format banquet capacity, the property aims to capitalise on corporate travel, local events and regional trade-linked activity. The addition of a branded hotel in the industrial corridor signals further formalisation of its hospitality ecosystem as the city positions itself as a business and event hub within the Marathwada belt.
