Restaurant India News: Elior India to Double Investment in Hyderabad as Corporate Dining Booms

Elior India has announced plans to double its investments in Hyderabad within the next 24 months, signalling a reinforced commitment to one of the country’s fastest-expanding corporate dining markets. The decision comes as Hyderabad strengthens its position as a key base for global capability centers and companies seeking improved workplace dining standards.

Since launching local operations in mid-2024, Elior India has posted an 80 percent CAGR over 14 months. The company has built a portfolio of more than 25 clients in Hyderabad, supported by demand for reliable, high-quality meal services across different business segments. Its large-format gourmet kitchen currently serves thousands of meals each day to major GCC operators, combining international processes with local preferences.

“Hyderabad continues to be at the heart of our expansion journey,” said Vijay Krishnan Vazhvelil, Chief Commercial Officer, Elior India. “We’ve seen tremendous growth and opportunity here, and we plan to scale further, doubling investments, expanding our team, and deepening our partnerships with clients who value quality, consistency, and care in workplace dining.”

The company’s growth in Hyderabad aligns with the wider rise of institutional dining in India. Corporate food programs are increasingly viewed as enablers of employee well-being and internal culture. As part of this focus, Elior recently partnered with Millet Marvels, a Hyderabad-based enterprise working on millet-led nutrition, supporting efforts toward sustainability, healthier choices, and local sourcing.

Over the past year, the company has also widened its presence across several cities and onboarded multiple national clients, many of whom have operations in Hyderabad. This reflects continued confidence in Elior’s chef-led model and operational systems.

“Our focus is on deepening relationships with our clients in Hyderabad and continuing to deliver world-class culinary experiences that combine taste, technology, and thoughtful dining,” added Vijay.

With fresh investments and new partnerships underway, Elior India positions itself among the country’s fastest-growing institutional dining companies.
