Quick service restaurant operator Devyani International Ltd (DIL) reported a narrower consolidated net loss of Rs 9.84 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2026, compared to a net loss of Rs 16.76 crore in the same quarter last fiscal.
The operator of brands such as KFC and Pizza Hut posted consolidated revenue from operations of Rs 1,436.86 crore during the quarter, up from Rs 1,212.59 crore in the corresponding period last year.
KFC India remained the company’s strongest business segment during the quarter, recording revenue of Rs 585.5 crore, reflecting growth of 14.6 percent year-on-year. In comparison, Pizza Hut India reported revenue of Rs 169.2 crore, marking a decline of 3.5 percent from the previous year.
DIL’s international operations generated revenue of Rs 503.3 crore in the quarter, registering growth of 20 percent year-on-year. The company’s total expenses for the quarter increased to Rs 1,469.09 crore from Rs 1,247.91 crore in the year-ago period, reflecting continued pressure on operating costs across the quick service restaurant sector.
For the full financial year FY26, DIL reported a consolidated net loss of Rs 42.54 crore, wider than the consolidated net loss of Rs 6.9 crore reported in FY25. However, annual consolidated revenue from operations rose to Rs 5,611.48 crore from Rs 4,951.05 crore a year earlier.
DIL non-executive Chairman Ravi Jaipuria said, “The year has been a defining one for Devyani International, a year in which we navigated a challenging operating environment while taking transformational steps that position the company strongly for the future.”
He added, “As a result of the stable demand environment and tailored and sustained customer engagement, KFC delivered its strongest performance in the last 14 quarters.”
On the company’s outlook, Jaipuria said, “While external and seasonal factors remain fluid, we are optimistic about demand conditions and believe the business is well positioned for stronger performance during the year.”
