Restaurant India News: Courtyard by Marriott Opens First Hotel in Tirupati

Courtyard by Marriott Tirupati has officially opened, marking the brand’s debut in the state of Andhra Pradesh. Part of the Marriott Bonvoy portfolio, the hotel brings modern comfort to one of India’s busiest pilgrimage cities, Tirupati, home to the renowned Tirumala Venkateswara Temple.

Located just 15 minutes from the railway station and 20 minutes from the airport, the 130-room hotel is designed for both pilgrims and business travellers. Rooms feature modern amenities, including high-speed internet, ergonomic workspaces, and comfortable bedding. Guests can also access a spa, outdoor pool, and a 24/7 fitness centre.

The hotel offers three dining options. The Kitchen Collective serves all-day meals with global and Andhra cuisine, while The Spirit Society is a lounge for cocktails and small plates. Deck9 provides a relaxed poolside dining experience.

For events, the property includes over 6,000 sq. ft. of banquet and meeting space, including a large pillarless ballroom. The venue is suited for weddings, conferences, and social gatherings, positioning the hotel as a key destination for events in the city.
