Chinese Wok, one of India’s leading Desi Chinese QSR chains from Lenexis Foodworks, has expanded its presence in Uttarakhand with the launch of its second outlet in Dehradun, taking its North India network to 77 stores. The newly opened outlet features a 30-seater dine-in space.
Dehradun marks an important growth market for the brand as it strengthens its presence across emerging Tier-II cities in India. With this launch, Chinese Wok continues to strengthen its cluster-led expansion strategy across North India, extending beyond Delhi-NCR and Uttar Pradesh into the Uttarakhand market. The company’s regional cluster approach is aimed at improving operational efficiency, supply chain management and delivering a consistent customer experience across neighbouring markets.
The Dehradun outlet is expected to attract students, families, tourists and young consumers through its affordable menu and signature offerings, including the ₹99 Superbowl, Kurkure Momos, multiple Manchurian variants and family-oriented Saver Combos.
The expansion also coincides with the brand’s ongoing national marketing push through its ‘WTF: What The Fries’ campaign, which has been generating strong consumer engagement across markets.
The outlet will offer dine-in, takeaway and delivery services, further strengthening Dehradun’s organised food service landscape while also contributing to local employment opportunities.
Speaking on the launch, Arvind R P, Chief Executive Officer, Lenexis Foodworks said, “Dehradun represents the kind of high-potential Tier-II market that is central to our expansion roadmap. We are witnessing a strong shift from unorganised eateries towards trusted and organised QSR formats, especially among younger consumers and working professionals. Our entry into Uttarakhand is an important milestone as we continue to strengthen our North India presence through a cluster-led growth strategy. At Chinese Wok, our focus remains on making high-quality, affordable Desi Chinese cuisine accessible across India through disciplined and scalable growth.”
As Chinese Wok accelerates expansion across emerging urban markets, the Dehradun launch further reinforces the brand’s ambition to build India’s most accessible and culturally relevant Desi Chinese QSR brand.
