Restaurant India News: Catering Collective Appoints Aloka Shhejwadkarr as Director of Sales for Celebrations

Catering Collective has appointed Aloka Shhejwadkarr as Director of Sales – Celebrations, as the K Hospitality-owned company moves to strengthen leadership capacity while expanding its footprint in India’s premium weddings and social celebrations catering segment. The appointment comes at a time when the high-end events and celebrations market in India is recording consistent year-on-year growth, prompting catering and venue operators to scale capacity across key urban centres.

The company continues to expand its catering and venue portfolio across multiple cities to capture rising demand in premium and ultra-premium social celebrations and experiential events. These categories are seeing increased traction from both domestic and international clients, making sales leadership and structured client management a priority area for operators in this segment.

Aloka Shhejwadkarr brings over 19 years of hospitality experience, with prior roles at Hyatt Regency Mumbai, Grand Hyatt Mumbai, and Fairmont Mumbai (Pre-Opening). Her background spans events operations, customer engagement, strategic planning, and people leadership, with a track record of driving revenue performance and operational delivery in high-volume environments.

In her role as Director of Sales (Celebrations) at Catering Collective, she will be responsible for leading the national sales function for the celebrations vertical. Her mandate includes strengthening client relationships, driving business development, building scalable sales processes, and supporting the company’s growth plans in the premium and ultra-premium social celebrations category. She will also oversee the expansion of the celebrations portfolio across key cities and manage sales teams focused on improving conversion rates and coordination between sales and on-ground execution teams.
