Bhojanam, a first-of-its-kind dining concept rooted in the rich culinary heritage of Telugu-speaking regions, has opened its flagship outlet in the heart of Jubilee Hills.
Put together by Pranavi & Teja Chekuri under Fullstack Ventures, this sprawling 8000 sq. ft. space has been crafted as an immersive culinary trail across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
At its core, Bhojanam brings back the familiar warmth of the home kitchen with comfort dishes inspired by generational home kitchens, regional traditions, across the distinct identities of Krishna, Godavari, Rayalaseema, and Telangana.
“Bhojanam is built on a very personal mission to preserve, celebrate, and mainstream the recipes that have lived in our Telugu families across generational kitchens,” said Pranavi Chekuri, Fullstack Ventures. “Through our earlier ventures, we’ve worked extensively on bringing regional flavours into contemporary dining spaces. With Bhojanam, we go a step deeper. This is not fusion, not reinvention but pure Telugu culinary heritage showcasing the most beloved comfort dishes from each region, presented with respect and served with pride.”
At a time when “South Indian cuisine” is oversimplified into a single category, Bhojanam introduces a refreshing counterpoint which introduces patrons to a deeply researched, region-first thali experience that celebrates nuance over generalisation.
Each thali has been thoughtfully curated to mirror the flavour rhythms, spice structures, and cultural subtleties of its region, offering guests not just a meal, but a sensory map of Telugu land.
Bhojanam’s opening marks the beginning of the brand’s wider expansion plan, with new formats slated for Delhi and Mumbai in the coming year.
The Hyderabad flagship will serve as the brand’s cultural anchor and a space that sets the tone for what Telugu dining can achieve when authenticity meets thoughtful presentation.
“This is a format built for scale,” added Teja Chekuri, Full Stack Ventures. “Telugu cuisine is vast, diverse, and loved across India. Our thali-first approach gives us the ability to expand into multiple cities and formats without compromising on authenticity or experience.”
