Devyani International Limited (DIL), one of India’s largest quick-service restaurant (QSR) operators, has announced the appointment of Akash Srivastava as its new Chief Development Officer (CDO). Srivastava, a seasoned retail and hospitality professional, brings extensive experience in brand expansion, real estate strategy, and business development across leading global and Indian QSR brands.

Prior to joining Devyani International, Srivastava served as Head of Real Estate and Business Development at Raymond Limited, where he led strategic growth initiatives across retail formats. Over his career, he has held key roles in renowned food and beverage chains, including Domino’s, Starbucks, KFC, Popeyes, Dunkin’, Chaayos, and Hongs Kitchen, driving large-scale expansion and location optimization strategies.

Srivastava has been recognized among Business World’s “40 Under 40” and The Economic Times’ Top Retail Minds, underscoring his impact on India’s fast-growing retail and QSR sectors.

At Devyani International, Srivastava is expected to play a pivotal role in accelerating the company’s growth trajectory, focusing on network expansion, new market entry, and strengthening brand presence across India.
