McCain Foods India Opens First Signature Café in Noida

McCain Foods India has entered the café segment with the launch of its first Signature Café in India. Located at Max Mall in Sector 129, Noida, the outlet is the frozen food company’s first consumer-facing café format in the country.

The café brings McCain’s frozen snacks and potato-based products into a foodservice format, with a menu spanning burgers, hot dogs, frankies, loaded fries, quick-service snacks, milkshakes, ice creams and desserts. The format allows the company to use its existing product portfolio across multiple foodservice occasions rather than limiting consumption to the home.

The menu includes items such as the Mexi-Crunch Burger, Korean Veggie Crunch Burger, Loaded Fries, samosa, crispers, desserts and sundaes. The offering is centred on McCain’s potato products and adapts them into different quick-service food formats.

The Noida outlet also gives McCain a direct consumer-facing presence within a retail and entertainment destination. For the company, the café format creates a foodservice channel through which its frozen products can be served directly to customers.

McCain said the Signature Café is the first step in exploring a wider consumer-facing expansion strategy across selected locations. The move places the company in the growing intersection of packaged food, quick-service formats and experiential retail, while allowing it to test a direct foodservice model using its existing product portfolio.
