JW Marriott Mumbai Juhu Appoints Harshad Makasare as Director of Sales

JW Marriott Mumbai Juhu has appointed Harshad Makasare as Director of Sales, adding a hospitality professional with more than 16 years of experience to its commercial leadership team. His remit will cover sales strategy, business development and key account management across corporate, MICE and leisure segments.

Makasare joins JW Marriott Mumbai Juhu from The Oberoi Group, where he most recently served as Associate Director of Sales – Corporate (Pan India). In that role, he was responsible for corporate sales strategy and key client relationships across the group’s hotel portfolio.

At JW Marriott Mumbai Juhu, Makasare will focus on developing new business opportunities, strengthening existing partnerships and supporting revenue and market-share growth. He will work with the hotel’s commercial leadership team across its key business segments.

His professional experience includes commercial strategy, business development, revenue optimisation and corporate account management across India’s hospitality sector. The appointment comes as the hotel continues to focus on its commercial performance and business mix across corporate, MICE and leisure demand.
