
Holiday Inn Express Gurugram Sector 50 has appointed Raman Sharma as its new General Manager, where he will oversee hotel operations, commercial strategy, guest experience and overall team performance.
With more than 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Sharma brings expertise across hotel operations, sales and marketing, revenue management and client relationship management. His career spans leadership roles across Delhi, Gurugram and Noida with several established hospitality brands.
Sharma has been associated with IHG since 2013 and joined the Holiday Inn Express brand in 2018 as Director of Sales & Marketing. During his tenure, he worked beyond core sales functions, managing key accounts, pricing strategies, inventory planning and revenue performance for the hotel.
Between October 2025 and April 2026, Sharma served as Taskforce Hotel Manager at Holiday Inn Express Greater Noida and later at Holiday Inn Express Kolkata Airport. In these assignments, he was responsible for hotel operations across rooms, food and beverage, finance, engineering and commercial performance.

Before joining Holiday Inn Express, Sharma served as Director of Sales at Holiday Inn Noida. His previous leadership assignments include senior sales and events roles at Radisson Blu MBD Hotel Noida, Shangri-La’s Eros Hotel, Crowne Plaza Today Okhla and InterContinental Eros Nehru Place. His experience spans corporate sales, revenue strategy, food and beverage operations, events and people management.

My emphasis will be on working with the team, listening closely to guest feedback and strengthening both operational and commercial performance.”
