Domino’s India has expanded its menu into the snacking category with the launch of Dominoid, a cheese-based product aimed at consumers seeking quick food options between meals. The launch marks the brand’s move to address consumption occasions such as short breaks, workday snacks and late-night orders.
Dominoid consists of two rectangular slices served on a soft, buttery crust and topped with cheese and sauces. It is available in four flavours: Italian Truffle, Korean Heat, Mexican Sizzle and Lebanese Shawarma. The product is being offered in vegetarian and non-vegetarian variants.
The launch is part of Domino’s effort to expand its menu beyond its core pizza range and build relevance across more frequent snacking occasions.
"As snacking becomes an increasingly important part of youth culture and everyday consumption, consumers are looking for options that deliver both indulgence and convenience. With Dominoid we are entering this space with a distinctive offering that combines our core equity of cheese-based indulgence with the convenience that today’s young consumers seek. This launch marks an important step in expanding our menu portfolio and strengthening our relevance across snacking occasions." said Chella Pandyan, Chief Growth and Marketing Officer, Domino's India.
Dominoid is priced at an introductory Rs 119 for the vegetarian variant and Rs 149 for the non-vegetarian variant. It is available across Domino’s stores in India and through the Domino’s app. The launch is also supported by a television campaign introducing the new product.
