The Qualia Takes Craft Beer Beyond Its Resort as Udaipur’s Hospitality Market Evolves

The Qualia Resort Club & Brewery is expanding its food and beverage business beyond its resort in Udaipur, with its in-house craft brewery now supplying beer on tap to select hospitality destinations in the city.

Located in the Aravalli foothills, The Qualia operates Rhythm & Brews, an in-house brewery offering six craft beer varieties, including four signature brews and two seasonal specials. Hefeweizen and Witbier are among its offerings, with the brewery also pairing its beers with food such as Neapolitan sourdough pizza.

The brewery was developed as part of The Qualia’s broader food and beverage offering, with the property aiming to introduce a craft beer-led format to Udaipur as consumer interest shifts towards contemporary dining and experiential hospitality.

Rhythm & Brews currently serves guests at The Qualia and has also started supplying beer on tap to select hospitality destinations, including Malibu, Shiv Niwas Palace and City Palace. The business is now evaluating a standalone model for the brewery, along with bottled craft beer for premium hotels, restaurants, retail outlets and other hospitality partners.

The brewery forms part of The Qualia’s 31-room and villa hospitality format, which also includes restaurants, a nightclub, swimming pool and event spaces. The property is positioned around a contemporary lifestyle hospitality model rather than the traditional heritage-palace format associated with Udaipur.

The expansion comes as Udaipur’s hospitality market develops beyond heritage tourism and destination weddings, with dining, nightlife and experience-led formats becoming additional parts of the city’s visitor economy. For The Qualia, the brewery provides a route to build a separate food and beverage business while extending its hospitality offering beyond its own property.
