Amul has invested in a state of the art plant to launch extrusion range of ice cream across India and developed super premium range of ice cream exclusively for this product.
Amul is also planning to invest Rs 50,000 crore to expand its network and set up at least 10 new processing plants across the country in next two years.
Earlier in December the inspection team from Russia has already visited the its plant and expressed satisfaction.\r\nThe company is in discussion with Galactika Group to export dairy products to Russia.
The company is witnessing a growth in all segments including milk and ice-cream. The company is also setting new plants in Gujarat, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal.
The facility has been set up under a tripartite agreement between Amul Dairy, the Gujarat Co-operative Milk Marketing Federation (GCMMF) that markets brand Amul and New Jersey based NRI businessman Piyush Patel.
