
Moksh Chopra, General Manager, KFC India & Partner Countries, steps into a new role at Taco Bell International as Market Lead, Indian Subcontinent.
Following the announcement by Yum! Brands, Moksh will transition to his new role effective September 7, 2026.
In his 16 years with Yum!, Moksh has made significant contributions to KFC’s business and culture. Most recently, as GM, Moksh has played a pivotal role in strengthening business fundamentals and shaping the long-term growth agenda across the BMU.
Under his leadership, the business achieved significant milestones, including growing market share to ~ 27%, doubling the restaurant footprint and operating profit, delivering strong system sales growth, improving unit economics and elevating both consumer and employee experiences.

In his new role, Moksh will be responsible for driving strategy, business growth and operational excellence for Taco Bell in India, Sri Lanka and Kuwait.
As an important growth engine for Yum!, Taco Bell has bold ambitions in the region, and Moksh is set to supercharge the brand’s momentum by applying the strengths and learnings of KFC India, partnering closely with Taco Bell’s franchisees and local team, and continuing to deliver strong business results.

The process to identify a permanent successor is underway, with a further announcement to follow. In the meantime, Aman Lal, Chief People, Culture and Operations Officer, KFC India & Partner Countries, will take on the role of Interim General Manager. With his deep understanding of the business and extensive organizational expertise, Aman will ensure leadership continuity and keep the business focused on its key priorities.
