Restaurant India News: Zomato Joins Hands with Amazon Pay for Rewarded Food Ordering

Zomato, India’s leading food ordering and delivery platform, has entered into a strategic partnership with Amazon Pay to enhance the value proposition for its users. Under this collaboration, Zomato users will earn Zomato Money on every order paid using their Amazon Pay Balance, making food delivery both convenient and financially rewarding.

The rewards structure is straightforward: users earn 3 percent Zomato Money on orders placed via Amazon Pay Balance from Monday to Friday and 5 percent on weekends, Saturday and Sunday.

To participate, users simply link their Amazon Pay Balance to their Zomato account, either through the payment settings menu or during checkout. After applying the promotional code from the offer wall, payment completion using Amazon Pay Balance automatically earns Zomato Money, which can be redeemed on future orders.

Adding funds to Amazon Pay Balance is designed to be seamless, with multiple options including Amazon Pay UPI, debit and credit cards issued in India, and net banking. Users can top up their balance via the Amazon app, with most transactions credited instantly, though in some cases it may take up to 15 minutes.

The partnership aims to create a smooth and rewarding food ordering experience in India, allowing users to leverage existing Amazon Pay funds while earning Zomato Money, effectively creating a cycle of continuous value for frequent food delivery customers.
