Restaurant India News: Westin Pune Koregaon Park Names New Director of Finance

The Westin Pune Koregaon Park, part of Marriott International, has announced the appointment of Satyabrat Sandha as Director of Finance, reinforcing its senior leadership team with an experienced hospitality finance professional. The appointment comes as the hotel continues to focus on financial discipline, compliance, and long-term business planning.

An MBA in Finance, Sandha brings over 15 years of experience across hospitality finance, accounting, auditing, taxation, and statutory compliance. In his new role, he will work closely with the General Manager and the hotel’s leadership team to oversee financial controls, ensure regulatory adherence, and align financial planning with the property’s long-term objectives.

Prior to joining The Westin Pune Koregaon Park, Sandha served as Cluster Director of Finance – ANZP with Marriott International, managing finance operations for Sheraton Samoa Aggie Grey’s Hotel and Bungalows and Sheraton Samoa Beach Resort. His earlier assignments include roles as Director of Finance at Sheraton Grand Chennai Resort and Spa and multiple finance leadership positions at Aloft Bengaluru Cessna Business Park during his tenure with Marriott International and Starwood Hotels and Resorts.

Sandha has handled responsibilities spanning budgeting, variance analysis, MIS reporting, auditing, taxation, and internal controls, along with process optimisation and cost management. He has also been involved in several Marriott International pre-opening projects, contributing to the setup of financial systems, talent onboarding, and brand-aligned operations.

His work in hospitality finance has been recognised through multiple industry awards, including the Hotelier India Awards 2024 – Finance Person of the Year, the Gold Award – Admin and Finance Champion of the Year 2023, and the Silver Award – Admin and Finance Champion of the Year 2022 at the India Hospitality Excellence Awards. He also received the Talent Development Award from Marriott International South Asia Finance in 2023 for his contribution to building finance teams.

With his experience across Marriott International’s financial systems and a focus on operational efficiency, Sandha’s appointment is expected to support stronger financial governance and operational stability at The Westin Pune Koregaon Park.
