Restaurant India News: Three O’Clock Café Brings Vietnamese Coffee Culture to Gurugram

Three O’ Clock Café has officially made its entry into the Indian market with the opening of three outlets in Gurugram on the same day. The cafés, located at AIPL Joy Central, Elan Epic Mall and AIPL Business Club, introduce guests to a menu shaped by Vietnamese coffee traditions. Designed with global influences and a contemporary layout, the brand aims to position itself as a new destination for coffee enthusiasts and consumers seeking cultural experiences.

The signature focus across all locations is Vietnamese coffee, featuring traditional phin-filter brews, egg coffee, coconut coffee and cold brew variations. All beverages are made using beans sourced from well-known Vietnamese estates, offering an interpretation of Vietnam’s slow-brew culture for today’s Indian market.

Bui Trung Thuong, Trade Counsellor, Embassy of Vietnam in India, said, “The growing cultural and economic exchange between India and Vietnam continues to strengthen the friendship between our two nations. Food and coffee are among the most heartfelt ways to bring people together, and we are delighted to see Vietnam’s beloved coffee culture finding a home in India through the launch of Three O’ Clock Café.”

Phi Van Nguyen, Chairwoman at Vietnam Franchising & Licensing Network and Co-Founder, Three O’ Clock Café, added, “We are excited to bring an authentic slice of Vietnam’s coffee heritage to Gurugram. Three O’ Clock Café is more than just a place to grab coffee—it’s an invitation to pause, connect, and savour the moment, the way people do every day at 3 PM in Vietnam.”

In addition to its coffee menu, the café offers artisanal teas, baked goods, bánh mì sandwiches, baos and desserts. The interiors feature warm colours and modern elements to support casual meetings, work sessions or solo visits.

Gaurav Marya, Chairman, Franchise India, commented, “Three O’ Clock’s launch in India brings the warmth and artistry of Vietnamese café culture to a new audience. It’s more than just coffee it’s an experience that celebrates slow living, authentic flavours, and meaningful conversations; all infused with a modern Indian essence.”

Key features at the new outlets include phin-filter coffee, speciality beverages, contemporary interiors and placement across high-footfall zones in Gurugram.

Sonya Chowdhry, Managing Director, Franchise India, said, “Three O’ Clock brings the soulful charm of Vietnamese café culture to India. Every cup tells a story of craftsmanship, connection, and creativity. This launch celebrates the beauty of slowing down and savouring authentic moments, blending Vietnam’s rich traditions with India’s vibrant café spirit.”

Poonam Bajaj, Area Developer and CEO, Inner Bean Coffee Pvt. Ltd., said, “India’s coffee culture is evolving rapidly, with young urban consumers seeking experiences that go beyond the usual cup. There’s a growing appetite for global flavours, craftsmanship, and café spaces that tell a story. Three O’ Clock Café perfectly captures this shift, offering something fresh, soulful, and deeply rooted in authentic taste.”

Vietnamese coffee culture continues to gain global traction as consumers show more interest in speciality coffee models. With more than 60 percent of millennials worldwide adopting unique café experiences, the demand for authentic and trend-driven spaces remains strong. In India, increased urbanization and shifting lifestyle habits are contributing to higher café footfall in malls and airports.

India’s branded coffee shop market expanded 12.7 percent over the last 12 months, reaching 5,339 outlets and adding 600 new stores. The sector continues to see growth from domestic and global brands as they compete for share in a market traditionally dominated by tea.
