The St. Regis Goa Resort has appointed Rohit Chadha as its new Executive Chef. Bringing more than 15 years of experience in luxury hospitality, Chef Rohit will lead the resort’s culinary operations with a focus on innovation, global influences, and elevated dining experiences.
Over the years, Chef Rohit has worked with leading hospitality brands including JW Marriott, Hyatt, and Taj Hotels. Prior to joining the Goa resort, he served as Executive Chef at the JW Marriott Walnut Grove Resort & Spa, where he oversaw a team of 70 professionals and managed five food and beverage outlets. During his tenure, the property recorded the highest food quality scores in the APEC region for 2024.
Chef Rohit has also gained international experience through his role as Executive Chef and Chef Trainer for the pre-opening team at the JW Marriott Kaafu Atoll Island Resort. Known for blending modern techniques with authentic flavours, he has built a reputation for creating culinary experiences rooted in both creativity and tradition.
"We are thrilled to welcome Chef Rohit Chadha to the St. Regis family," said the resort management. "His mastery of cost control, team leadership, and his relentless pursuit of culinary innovation make him the perfect visionary to elevate our dining experiences to new heights of luxury."
His culinary journey extends beyond professional kitchens. In 2019, he was recognised among the Top 10 Chefs by Condé Nast Traveller for the “Himalayan Raw and Fine” culinary journey to Japan. He has also worked alongside acclaimed Alain Passard, while travelling across countries such as Thailand, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, and Singapore to explore and study regional cuisines and authentic local flavours.
