
Rohan Malwankar joins as new Executive Chef of JW Marriott Hotel Bengaluru. With 14+ years across marquee Marriott International hotels, Chef Rohan is known for his ingredient-led philosophy, modern flair, and ability to blend authenticity with innovation.
Since joining Marriott in 2007, he has shaped the culinary identity of iconic properties such as The St. Regis Mumbai, JW Marriott Mumbai, The Westin Hyderabad Mindspace, and Courtyard by Marriott Hebbal, Bengaluru. Most recently, as Executive Chef at Navi Mumbai Marriott Hotel, he led pre- and post-opening strategy, designed progressive menus, and showcased regional stories on the plate. Renowned for his dynamic leadership, Chef Rohan has curated celebrity weddings, helmed high-profile pre-opening task forces across India and Sri Lanka, and earned 10 career awards for excellence in guest experience, business growth, and community impact.

In his new role, Executive Chef Rohan will oversee all culinary operations at JW Marriott Hotel Bengaluru, including its award-winning restaurants, Bengaluru Baking Company, Alba, Spice Terrace, JW Kitchen, Merak Brewhouse, and UNO Izakaya, as well as in-room dining and banqueting. With a focus on sustainability, innovation, and consistent culinary excellence, he is set to elevate the hotel’s dining experiences while upholding the brand’s legacy of luxury and quality.
