
THE OZEN COLLECTION, part of the portfolio of Atmosphere Core, has appointed Utsa Majumder as General Manager of OZEN Villas Jaipur, a 181-key luxury resort located in the Aravalli Range near Jaipur. The appointment is part of the brand’s strategy to establish leadership for its latest property in India.
Majumder brings more than 20 years of experience in the luxury hospitality sector, having worked with several international hotel brands in India. She is recognised for her operational management capabilities, revenue management expertise, and people-focused leadership approach. During her career, she has received several industry recognitions, including General Manager of the Year 2024 at the Hozpitality Excellence Awards and Leading Hospitality Icon at the World Leadership Congress Awards 2022.
In addition to her hotel industry experience, Majumder is actively involved in tourism and hospitality advocacy initiatives. She currently serves as President of the WICCI Hospitality & Tourism Council and also mentors participants through the organisation’s mentorship outreach programme that supports women working in the hospitality sector.

The resort is located within India’s Golden Triangle tourism circuit and is approximately an hour’s drive from Jaipur International Airport. It is also situated around two and a half hours from Gurgaon and three hours from Agra, placing it within reach of key leisure and corporate travel routes in northern India.
OZEN Villas Jaipur will feature 181 one- and two-bedroom villas, each designed with a private pool. Spread across 20 acres of landscaped property, the low-rise resort has been planned as a destination for leisure travellers as well as for events and celebrations. The property will also include a 20,000 sq. ft. indoor event venue along with multiple outdoor spaces intended for corporate gatherings, social functions, and large-scale Indian weddings.
With the appointment of Majumder, the company aims to strengthen operational leadership at the property as it prepares to position the resort within the luxury hospitality segment and attract both domestic and international travellers visiting Jaipur and the wider Golden Triangle region.
