Novotel Kolkata Hotel & Residences has announced the appointment of Ajaya Kumar Nath as Director of Finance, signalling a continued focus on strengthening financial governance and operational efficiency within the property.

Ajaya Kumar Nath brings over two decades of experience spanning hospitality and multinational corporations, with expertise in financial management, business planning, regulatory compliance, and stakeholder coordination. His appointment aligns with broader industry trends where hotels are prioritising tighter financial controls and data-driven decision-making amid evolving market dynamics.

Before joining Novotel Kolkata Hotel & Residences, he held senior roles across organisations such as Johnson & Johnson, Dalmia Resorts International, Club Mahindra, Radisson Hotels, Atalian Global Services, and Marriott International. This cross-sector exposure is expected to support the hotel’s financial planning and performance frameworks.

Ajaya holds a Master of Commerce (M.Com) in Accounting and an MBA in Finance, along with a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) in Accounting from Utkal University. His academic training underpins his capabilities in financial strategy, compliance, and operational oversight within the hospitality sector.
