MISU has opened a new outlet on St. Marks Road in Bengaluru’s Central Business District. Located at the Halcyon Complex, this is the brand’s most design-focused restaurant to date and marks the next phase of its growth.
Founded by hospitality entrepreneur Amit Ahuja in 2017, MISU is known for its approachable pan-Asian flavours. The new St. Marks Road outlet reflects how the brand has evolved, combining familiar Asian dishes with a more refined dining experience. The restaurant features bold and immersive interiors. Highlights include a custom-designed feature wall, a black-and-grey stone herringbone floor, and a large linear light installation designed to resemble a floating dragon. The space is arranged around a central bar, making it suitable for long lunches and late evenings.
MISU’s food menu continues its pan-Asian focus. Popular dishes include Cream Cheese Dumplings with chilli oil, Dynamite Shrimp, Spicy Tofu and Avocado Maki Rolls, and Spicy Korean Ramen. The menu also includes Thai Green Curry, edamame fried rice, and udon noodles. Desserts are inspired by flavours such as mango sticky rice and coconut jaggery. Amit Ahuja also leads AA Hospitality, which operates brands such as MISU, Lucky Chan, and Fifty-50.
“This outlet represents how MISU has evolved over the years. The space is intentionally design-forward, where evenings stretch longer and the ambience sets the pace. Alongside this, our food presentation and recipes have been thoughtfully elevated, more refined, more intentional to complement the overall experience,” says Amit Ahuja, Founder, MISU.
The bar plays a key role in the experience, with soju at the centre of the beverage menu. The cocktail list includes drinks such as Yuzu Ginger Soju, Peach Lemongrass Soju, and Soju Picante. The menu also features sake, wines, and alcohol-free options. With the St. Marks Road opening, MISU aims to strengthen its position as a dining destination for Bengaluru’s urban audience.
