
Le Méridien Mahabaleshwar Resort & Spa has named Reshma Godbole as its new Director of Sales & Marketing. With more than two decades of experience in the hospitality industry, Godbole brings expertise in sales strategies, market development, and business growth across luxury hotel brands.
In her new position, Godbole will be responsible for the resort’s sales and marketing functions, with oversight on partnerships, revenue expansion, and market positioning. Her focus will also include strengthening the resort’s profile as both a leisure retreat and a destination for weddings and MICE events.
Before joining Le Méridien Mahabaleshwar, Godbole was associated with The Leela Palaces, Hotels & Resorts as Senior Director of Sales – Domestic Leisure, where she managed operations for the segment at a national level. Her earlier assignments include leadership roles with The St. Regis Mumbai, The Westin Mumbai Garden City, and other well-known hospitality brands. Over the years, she has specialized in areas such as corporate and travel trade sales, MICE, guest relations, and event management.
An alumna of S.N.D.T. Women’s University in Mumbai, Godbole completed her Post Graduate Diploma in Hospitality Administration with majors in Front Office Management, Guest Relations, and Sales & Marketing. She also holds a degree in Home Science with a specialization in Hotel Hospitality Management.
