ITC Hotels Limited has signed a new 100-key hotel in Vrindavan under its Fortune Hotels brand, further expanding its presence in the state. With this, the company’s portfolio in Uttar Pradesh will grow to 17 properties, including operational and upcoming hotels such as Welcomhotel Prayagraj, WelcomHeritage Badi Kothi, and Fortune Select Ayodhya.
The new hotel is expected to open in April 2030 and will feature well-appointed rooms, an all-day dining restaurant, banquet spaces, and modern amenities designed for both leisure and spiritual travellers. Vrindavan, known for landmarks like Banke Bihari Temple and ISKCON Temple, attracts millions of visitors each year. With limited premium accommodation options currently, the project aims to cater to the growing demand for quality stays in the city.
Commenting on the signing, Anil Chadha, Managing Director, ITC Hotels Limited, said, "Vrindavan is a strategic growth market. With increasing infrastructure development and rising domestic travel, the city continues to witness a surge in demand for quality branded accommodation. This agreement accelerates our expansion into high-growth leisure markets, directly advancing our focus on the evolving pilgrimage landscape."
This signing strengthens Fortune Hotels’ development pipeline as it continues to expand across key religious and leisure destinations in India.
