Indian Hotels Company (IHCL), India’s largest hospitality group, has signed a new Taj resort in Sawai Madhopur, Rajasthan, marking another milestone in its luxury portfolio. This property will be a greenfield project.

Set amid pristine wilderness, the 75-key eco-sensitive resort is designed to blend seamlessly with its natural surroundings. It will feature elegant suites and villas with private courtyards and plunge pools. Dining options will include an all-day restaurant, specialty venue, bar, and safari lounge. Sawai Madhopur, a historic city in Rajasthan, serves as the gateway to Ranthambore National Park, one of India’s most renowned tiger reserves. The park is home to majestic tigers, leopards, and a diverse array of wildlife, making it a sought-after destination for nature enthusiasts.

Guests can also enjoy a heated swimming pool, J Wellness Circle spa, fitness centre, salon (Niu & Nau), and meeting spaces. Aligned with IHCL’s Paathya ESG+ framework, the resort will incorporate solar-powered amenities, rainwater harvesting, and locally sourced sustainable materials, reinforcing Taj’s commitment to responsible luxury.
