In this role, she will be responsible for driving human resources and culture initiatives at Grand Hyatt Mumbai and designated Hyatt hotels in the region.
Namrata Sharma brings over two decades of experience across luxury hospitality and corporate organisations. Her professional background includes senior HR roles with hospitality brands such as The Leela, Marriott, Westin, Taj Hotels, and Green Park Hotels & Resorts, along with early-career exposure in the corporate sector at 24/7 Customer and Wipro. Her expertise spans people strategy, leadership development, organisational culture, and HR operations.
Throughout her hospitality career, Namrata has been closely involved in building structured talent pipelines, strengthening team performance, and advancing inclusive workplace practices. Her experience positions her to manage complex, multi-property HR functions while aligning people practices with business objectives.
As Area Director of Human Resources, Namrata will oversee talent acquisition, learning and development, succession planning, employee engagement, performance frameworks, and HR governance. She will also be responsible for reinforcing Hyatt’s service culture and values across teams, ensuring consistency in people practices and leadership standards.
