Restaurant India News: Hilton Appoints Ayush Ashok Agarwal as Director of MICE in Bengaluru

Hilton and Hilton Garden Inn Bengaluru Embassy Manyata Business Park have appointed Ayush Ashok Agarwal as Director of MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions), in a move aimed at strengthening their position in the corporate events and group business segment.

Agarwal brings over 14 years of experience in the hospitality sector, with a background spanning MICE sales, account management, and business development. His appointment reflects the increasing focus among hotel operators on scaling revenue through meetings and events, particularly in key business hubs such as Bengaluru.

Prior to this role, Agarwal served as Commercial Manager at Hilton Garden Inn Surat City Centre and held the position of Associate Director of Sales at Hilton & Hilton Garden Inn Bengaluru Embassy Manyata Business Park. His career also includes roles as Senior Sales Manager at The Lalit Ashok Bangalore, along with sales positions at The Park Bangalore, Radisson Blu Atria Bangalore, and Taj West End Bengaluru.

Across these roles, he has been involved in managing MICE portfolios, working with travel partners and event planners, and driving segment-led growth across corporate accounts.

In his new position, Agarwal will lead the MICE vertical for the property, with a focus on revenue generation, client engagement, and strengthening the hotel’s positioning in the events segment. His responsibilities will also include overseeing sales strategies, improving performance metrics, and managing team development.

The appointment comes at a time when the hospitality industry is seeing a steady recovery in corporate travel and events demand. Hotels are increasingly investing in leadership roles dedicated to MICE to capture large-format events, conferences, and business gatherings, which remain a key revenue driver alongside room bookings.

With this leadership addition, Hilton & Hilton Garden Inn Bengaluru Embassy Manyata Business Park is expected to further consolidate its presence in the MICE segment within the city’s competitive hospitality market.
