Restaurant India News: Dough & Cream Names Chef Rajat Nunwal as Executive Pastry Chef

Dough & Cream Private Limited has appointed Chef Rajat Nunwal as its new Executive Pastry Chef, as the company looks to strengthen its capabilities in product innovation, operational efficiency, and quality management within its bakery and pastry business.

Chef Rajat brings more than 14 years of international experience spanning India, the UAE, and the United States. His expertise covers artisan breads, viennoiserie, plated desserts, chocolate work, celebration cakes, luxury buffet presentations, and bakery operations management.

In his new role, he will be responsible for overseeing pastry and bakery production operations, leading product development initiatives, maintaining quality standards, and driving training programmes for teams across the organisation. He will also focus on expanding Dough & Cream's portfolio of breads, cakes, desserts, and seasonal offerings while ensuring consistency across products.

His professional experience also includes leadership roles at Savorworks, Delhi, and Andaz Delhi by Hyatt, where he was part of the pre-opening culinary team and managed key bakery and pastry functions. Earlier in his career, he worked with hospitality brands including Le Méridien New Delhi and Hilton Mayur Vihar, building experience in pastry production, bakery operations, and luxury hospitality standards.
