Restaurant India News: Domino’s India Expands to 500+ Cities with 80 New Stores in Q2

Domino’s India has reported a strong growth phase in the second quarter, with the opening of over 80 new outlets, extending its network to more than 500 cities across the country. This milestone marks a significant step in the brand’s ongoing effort to strengthen its delivery network and make quality food more accessible to customers across India.

According to the company, this expansion reflects not just numerical growth but a continued focus on operational excellence and proximity to customers. Each new opening has been strategically planned to enhance service efficiency and local reach. The company’s expansion blueprint focuses on three key areas—densifying presence in established markets, entering new and emerging cities, and setting up stores in high-footfall zones such as universities, malls, and transit points.

Among the new cities added to Domino’s footprint are Diphu (Assam), Osmanabad (Maharashtra), Siwan (Bihar), Namakkal (Tamil Nadu), and Dausa (Rajasthan). These additions signal the brand’s intent to reach smaller yet high-potential markets where demand for quick-service dining is rapidly growing.

The company has also expanded its presence across leading educational campuses, including IIT Bhubaneswar, IIT Jodhpur, NIT Calicut, and BITS campuses, catering to a younger, convenience-driven audience. Locations in major malls and transit areas have also been prioritized to strengthen accessibility and visibility.

Kapil S., Head of Business Development and Partner Management, Domino’s India, commented, “This isn't just a number; it reflects our commitment to bringing high-quality food closer to communities everywhere. Our expansion is carefully planned, allowing us to densify our presence in established markets, thoughtfully enter new cities, and strategically open across key locations such as universities, malls, and transit points.”

The company emphasized that the success of this quarter’s expansion was made possible through the collective efforts of its operational and development teams, who continue to uphold Domino’s focus on quality, consistency, and service standards.

With this growth, Domino’s India continues to reinforce its leadership in the country’s quick-service restaurant (QSR) sector. Its ability to scale rapidly while maintaining brand consistency positions it strongly amid rising competition and changing consumer dining habits.

As the brand continues to explore new markets and optimize its delivery infrastructure, Domino’s remains committed to its mission of serving high-quality, affordable pizzas to customers nationwide. The latest expansion underlines Domino’s India’s strategic balance between growth and localization—ensuring that each new store is not only an outlet but also a step toward deeper market integration and stronger community engagement.
