
Cygnett Hotels & Resorts has appointed Sujan Ganguly as Area Director – Operations & Pre-Opening for India and Nepal, as the company scales its footprint across key regional markets.
Ganguly brings more than three decades of experience in the hospitality sector, with a focus on operational management, hotel performance, and brand positioning. His career includes leadership roles across multiple established hospitality groups such as Ginger Hotels, Royal Orchid Hotels, Lords Hotels & Resorts, Fortune Hotels, Taj Hotels, Golden Tulip Hotels, Sarovar Hotels, and Peerless Hotels.
Known for his operational approach and team-focused leadership style, Ganguly has worked across hotel operations, pre-opening functions, brand development, and revenue optimisation. His track record includes building operational frameworks and improving property-level performance across multiple hotel formats.
In his new role, he will be responsible for overseeing operational performance and managing pre-opening activities across Cygnett’s portfolio in India and Nepal. The mandate includes ensuring consistency in operations, alignment with brand standards, and execution of new property launches.
