
Aravali Marriott Resort & Spa, part of Marriott International, has appointed Mandeep Kumar as Director of Operations, reinforcing its leadership team and focus on delivering elevated guest experiences.
In his new role, Kumar will lead overall resort operations, providing strategic oversight across key functions including Food & Beverage, Rooms, and guest services. He will be responsible for improving operational efficiency, strengthening service standards, and ensuring seamless guest journeys, while aligning performance with Marriott’s global benchmarks.
A graduate of Punjab Technical University, Kumar brings a strong foundation in hospitality along with a progressive leadership approach, making him a valuable addition to the resort’s executive team. This appointment aligns with the resort’s ongoing focus on operational excellence, strategic growth, and delivering refined, high-quality guest experiences within Marriott International’s global portfolio.
Kumar brings over 15 years of experience in luxury and upscale hospitality, with a proven track record in operations, revenue growth, and team leadership. Most recently, he served as Director of Food & Beverage at Noormahal Palace, where he led large-scale operations, enhanced team performance, and delivered sustained revenue growth.
His career includes leadership roles at prominent hospitality brands such as Holiday Inn Jaipur City Centre, Renaissance Bengaluru Racecourse Hotel, ibis Styles Goa, Goa Marriott Resort & Spa, JW Marriott Bengaluru, and The Leela Palace Bengaluru. Across these roles, he has demonstrated expertise in managing multi-outlet operations, large-scale banquets, and strategic business planning. Throughout his career, Kumar has received several recognitions, including Hotel Experience Champion by IHG, multiple Manager of the Month awards, and the prestigious Spirit to Serve honour by Marriott International. He has also led award-winning outlets and consistently achieved high scores in brand standard audits.
