Neapolitan Pizza, one of Gujarat’s first Quick serve restaurant (QSR) has introduced a small outlet model to attract and engage more and more young entrepreneurs in the QSR segment.
With this model, the franchise will be rolled out on FOFO basis with a small investment to the tune of just Rs 10 lakh, half of which will be financed by the company. The company will provide complete set up, know-how and technical and marketing support, including brand promotions.
The Vadodara-headquartered pizzeria is expanding further, with seven new outlets scheduled to be opened across Gujarat and Maharashtra. The QSR firm will be opening its first ever outlet in Orlando, Florida, United States on June 19.
Mukund Purohit, Chairman and Managing Director, Neapolitan Pizza Limited, said, "Our expansion policies are in line with the fulfilment of our objective – ‘quality pizza at affordable prices’. Another objective is to catapult an Indian name in the pizzeria restaurant sector, as opposed to other pizza brands of American or European origin."
Mumbai-based 1441 Pizzeria is all set to open its 23rd outlet in Chembur, Mumbai.

Started by Krishna Gupta in 2015 with a concept to bring authenticity of Italian wood fired pizza to India, at 1441 Pizzeria, the concept and menu has been designed and created by the Italian Pizza Master chef Renato Viola who will also be training the chefs personally.
City-based Zucca Pizzeria is planning to open 100 outlets across South India in another two years.
Arun Kumar, Founder of Zucca said “With three outlets in the city and three more in the pipeline, the company has 17,000 unique pizza delivery customers, which will be increased to one lakh customers in the next one year. There were plans to open 100 outlets in the next two years as there was good demand for freshly baked hand-crafted pizzas, unlike those available in leading brands. More entrepreneurs were willing to open franchisees, with an investment of Rs 20 lakh to Rs 25 lakh each. Zucca has partnered with an online company ASK, which has many kiosks in populated residential areas and apartments across the city”.
Company has its own billing system, which eliminates the traditional PoS and uses mobile devices for taking orders. This method was quick and easy to take orders, which created efficiency and also huge saving in capital investment.
