Invigorate Foods to Invest Rs 60 Crore to Manufacture Soya Products in India

Invigorate Foods, a Japanese company in the range of fresh soya milk products, launched ‘Genki-Ya Tofu’ in Delhi. ‘Genki-Ya Tofu’ is prepared from fresh soya milk extracts for the first time in India. The tofu manufactured by Invigorate Foods will have authentic taste and texture in the products since the company has imported well-developed and highly-equipped machinery from Mase Tofu Machine, Japan (World’s best Tofu Manufacturing Machine provider). 

Kentaro Takeda, Global Managing Director, Invigorate Foods said, "We are proud to launch ‘Make in India’ manufactured products made from fresh soya milk extracts. India-Japan shares excellent bilateral ties and this initiative is a part of Make in India strategy by our company."

Invigorate Foods is planning to invest INR 600 million in the next three years in the plant, equipment and other capital goods required for manufacturing soya milk products in the country. Invigorate Foods plans to launch other soya milk products such as Genki-ya Silken Tofu, Genki-ya Firm Tofu, Genki-ya Extra-Firm Tofu), Fresh Soy Milk, Flavoured Soy milk, yoghurts and doughnuts. The products will be manufactured keeping in mind the highest quality international standards. 

Naveen Sundriyal, Managing Director, Invigorate Foods said at the launch, "Our company plans to launch a number of products in India at a time when vegan food is being adopted by a lot of diet-conscious Indians. Fresh soya milk can not only be consumed in the form of Tofu but we plan to introduce other soya milk products and Tofu as a part of our launch of different product categories in India. We plan to reach out to all India distribution by the end of next year and look at providing employment to more than 1,000 people in the near future." 

Shizuka Takeda, well-known Japanese Model and Yoga Instructor, Aishaa Chhatwal, Indian Fitness Trainer and Food blogger, eminent delegates from Embassy of Japan in India, Bollywood Celebrities, Indian doctors and distinguished industry leaders were present at the launch. 

Chie Annaka, a renowned Japanese Author and Dietician, talked about various benefits of Tofu. She stated, "Tofu has various health benefits and is a better option as compared to cheese. Tofu helps to lower bad cholesterol and enhance the quality of skin and hair. Tofu has a very low-calorie count which also makes it an ideal option for people who want to lose weight. It has also been said that Tofu is beneficial in reducing the risk of different types of cancer." 

Invigorate Foods is an emerging fresh soya milk products manufacturing company incorporated in 2018 and is inherited from Japanese Traditional Culture. Its parent company is patented in Japan by the name of Takeda Global. Invigorate Foods Pvt. Ltd intends to deliver Japanese authentic taste and texture in their products.
