Benne Expands NCR Presence, Opens New Outlet at CyberHub, Gurugram

Bengaluru-style dosa QSR brand Benne has expanded its presence in the National Capital Region with the opening of a new outlet at CyberHub, Gurugram.

The outlet was soft-launched on Sunday, September 13, marking another step in the brand’s expansion beyond its home market.

The new CyberHub outlet is aimed at bringing the flavours and character of Bengaluru’s heritage food to one of Gurugram’s busiest dining and corporate destinations.

“Our aim is to bring a little piece of Bangalore to CyberHub. Simple, heritage food, made with love,” said founders Akhil Iyer and Shriya Narayan.

Benne

Founded by the husband-and-wife duo, Benne has built its proposition around Bengaluru-style dosas and a focused South Indian menu, positioning itself in the premium South Indian QSR segment.

With the latest opening, Benne currently operates three outlets in Mumbai and one outlet in Greater Kailash (GK), New Delhi, in addition to its new CyberHub location in Gurugram. The growing footprint marks the brand’s continued push to take its Bengaluru-inspired food proposition to key urban markets across India.

The CyberHub launch comes shortly after Benne raised ₹35 crore in a pre-Series A funding round led by Claypond Capital, the family office of Ranjan Pai. Claypond Capital invested ₹28.75 crore in the round, with participation from AL Trusts, Mukul Agrawal, Madhukeshwar Desai and Cortado Advisory Services. The fundraise valued the company at nearly ₹364 crore post-money.

The fresh capital is being deployed towards expanding Benne’s operations and supporting its next phase of growth. The CyberHub opening comes at a time when the brand is looking to strengthen its footprint and scale its Bengaluru-inspired food proposition across markets.

The brand’s expansion reflects the growing opportunity for regional Indian food concepts to build national QSR businesses while retaining a strong connection to their culinary roots. For Benne, the strategy remains centred on keeping the food simple and rooted in heritage, even as the brand enters new markets and larger urban consumption hubs.
