Varun Tripuraneni is the Co-Founder of Shoyu, a premium Pan-Asian cloud kitchen that has
redefined the luxury delivery landscape in India.
Launched in 2022 alongside actor Naga Chaitanya, noted restaurateurs Akshay Quenim and
Tanveer Kwatra, Shoyu was born from their mission to bridge the gap between fine dining and
the convenience of home delivery. Under Varun’s strategic leadership, the brand has scaled
from Hyderabad into major culinary hubs like Bengaluru, earning a reputation for "delivery
engineering"—a meticulous approach to custom, eco-friendly packaging that preserves the
integrity of delicate Asian cuisine.
Varun’s expertise lies in building high-performance brands from the ground up. Before
pivoting to the F&B sector, he established himself as a powerhouse in the Indian sports
industry. As a founding co-owner of the ISL championship-winning club Hyderabad FC and
former CEO of Kerala Blasters, he mastered the art of operational excellence and consumer
engagement. Today, through Shoyu and his broader hospitality venture, Scuzi Hospitality,
Varun continues to apply his systematic approach to innovation, consistently elevating the
standards of the premium consumer experience.
