Seijiro Hirohama is the Chief Operating Officer of the Global Business Division at KUURAKU GROUP and the Managing Director of KUURAKU INDIA Pvt. Ltd., overseeing international expansion strategies and local operations across multiple markets. With over 20 years of experience in the restaurant and hospitality industry, Seijiro has led KUURAKU’s expansion in Japan, Canada, India, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, the Philippines, and China, adapting Japanese hospitality and culinary standards to diverse cultural contexts while maintaining high-quality customer experiences. At KUURAKU INDIA, he has driven the development of training programs, operational localization, and team development, ensuring the successful transfer of Japanese culinary culture to local markets. He also plays a key role in inbound initiatives and in enhancing international guest experiences, leveraging his global perspective on consumer engagement. Seijiro is a skilled Sushi and Yakitori chef. He is also a certified sake sommelier, using his expertise to educate and mentor staff while ensuring consistent quality and operational excellence. He represented Japan in a UNESCO-hosted international culinary competition, reflecting his high-level culinary skill and international recognition. In addition, he works as a designer for menu planning and restaurant layout, contributing to the enhancement of brand experience and the creation of immersive dining environments.
