Rohit Tokhi is the COO of Toscano. Rohit began his culinary journey in 1996 at the Taj Mahal Hotel, Mumbai, where he learned his craft while working at Zodiac Grill. He later worked on cruise ships before returning to India in 2006. He went on to work with leading luxury hotels including The Oberoi New Delhi, The Leela Gurugram, The Leela Ambience Delhi, and The Leela Palace Chennai. After spending years in the hotel industry, Chef Rohit chose to challenge himself in the restaurant space and joined Toscano as Corporate Chef in December 2022. He currently serves as COO, Toscano. An alumnus of IHM Mumbai, Chef Rohit believes in hands-on learning. His culinary philosophy focuses on serving honest food, staying true to basics, respecting ingredients, and allowing simple techniques and teamwork to bring out the best flavours.
