Raghavendra Rao, a Mechanical Engineer with over 24 years of experience in the food industry, has built a legacy of innovation and excellence.
He founded the IDC Kitchen chain in 2012, followed by the launch of The Rameshwaram Café in 2021 and Thirtha in 2025. Today, he spearheads operations across both brands, ensuring consistency, quality, and customer delight at every step. Supporting him is his wife, Divya Raghavendra Rao, a Chartered Accountant with a postgraduate degree in Finance and Management from IIM Ahmedabad. She leads the management and finance functions of The Rameshwaram Café, bringing in strong governance, compliance, and strategic financial planning to fuel its growth.
Their hands-on leadership style ensures that every outlet upholds the brand’s core values: Quality, Tradition, and Discipline. With a clear vision to take The Rameshwaram Café pan-India and onto the global stage, the duo is committed to creating a nationally recognized culinary brand deeply rooted in culture, yet powered by modern systems and scalable models.
