Prashant Mehta is an experienced Investor Operator in technology-driven businesses and an entrepreneurial leader with a proven track record of building successful enterprises across Asia and the US.
He is also a founding Partner at Lightbox Ventures and as a founding partner, Prashant played an instrumental role in raising capital from prominent global investors including sovereign wealth funds, endowments, and family offices. He led the team in identifying investment opportunities, conducting thorough due diligence, negotiating key terms and investing in companies that become outperformers for Lightbox.
He has Prashant led investments in seven companies including; Rebel Foods, Truecaller and Embibe.
An MBA from The Wharton School of The University of Pennsylvania and BS in Biochemistry, Rutgers University, he has actively mentored multiple founders and have invested in over 25 early stage businesses.
