Nikhil Gupta is the Co-Founder of Popo Ventures, the homegrown Bangalore food company behind The Pizza Bakery, Paris Panini, and Smash Guys. In December 2017, he and his brother AB started with a single outlet in Indiranagar and a simple belief: that great food, done consistently, builds loyal customers. Eight years later, Popo Ventures has grown to 37 locations across Bangalore, with each brand earning its place as a category-defining leader across delivery and dine-in. Nikhil's superpower is operations — building the systems, processes, and team culture that make quality repeatable at scale. He's deeply interested in how food brands can grow without losing the soul that made them special in the first place. When he's not obsessing over unit economics or outlet-level execution, Nikhil is studying both emerging and established consumer brands, always looking for the next insight to bring back to the business.
