Bansi Kotecha is the Co-Founder of Kytchens, a Mumbai-based foodtech startup building a
Kitchen-as-a-Service platform that enables food brands to scale delivery operations through
shared kitchen infrastructure and standardized operations. Since co-founding the company in
2020, he has been responsible for the company’s strategy, partnerships, and operational
systems, focusing on creating scalable infrastructure that helps restaurants expand
efficiently while maintaining sustainable unit economics.
Before starting Kytchens, Bansi held multiple leadership roles at Uber, where he worked
across operations, customer experience, and marketplace growth. He served as Head of Uber
Eats for India and South Asia, where he led the food delivery business across the region.
Prior to that, he was Senior General Manager for Uber Eats across West, South, and East
India, overseeing regional expansion and market operations. Earlier at Uber, he also held
roles including General Manager for the West region and Head of Customer Experience and
Support for India and South Asia, helping build and scale Uber’s operations during its early
growth phase in the country.
