Aslam Basheer is the Founder of Café Azzure & Hermitage India. He has spent over a decade building restaurant brands in Bengaluru, including Cafe Azzure, a café chain that has become a familiar hangout spot for the city’s youth, and Hermitage India, the viral fine-dining vegetarian restaurant in Malleshwaram that explores global cuisine through a vegetarian lens. Currently, he owns 4 outlets of Café Azzure and one outlet of Hermitage India. Over the years, he has focused on creating distinctive dining concepts and shaping how they connect with audiences through thoughtful branding and storytelling. Originally from Kerala, Aslam holds an MFA in Filmmaking from the prestigious Full Sail University in Orlando. His background in cinema influences the way he approaches hospitality, as an experience shaped by narrative and culture.
