A Telecommunications Engineering graduate from BMS College, Bengaluru, Arun Adiga spent nearly a decade in the corporate world with roles at BPL and Reliance. In 2005, he made a pivotal career shift, leaving behind his engineering role in telecom to join his family's iconic business, Vidyarthi Bhavan, and carry forward its legacy. Although the decision was challenging at the time, Arun embraced the restaurant business wholeheartedly, mastering its nuances. Vidyarthi Bhavan, already a landmark in Bengaluru's culinary history, flourished further under his stewardship. Over the years, he streamlined backend operations, cultivated a strong team dynamic, and fostered deep relationships with customers from all walks of life. Arun has further strengthened Vidyarthi Bhavan’s brand by enhancing operational efficiency, preserving its rich traditions, and building a bridge between heritage and modernity, ensuring its continued prominence in Bengaluru's cultural and gastronomic landscape. He is also Director at Hotel Industrialists Cooperative Bank since 2018 and an Active member of the Executive Committees of the Bangalore Hotels Association and Karnataka State Hotels Association.
