The company will introduce this new feature in the Philippines in the second half of 2022, with plans to expand to additional Southeast Asia markets by 2024.
In the first phase of developments, the brand plans to launch in Mumbai with 2 full-service restaurants, 2 food court formats, 1 dark kitchen, and 1 kulfi shop format in the next 6 months.
As per the brand, the new feature is inspired by feedback from as many as eight out of 10 users who have switched to other map apps to search for nearby food.
One of the reasons for designing such a proposal was that there was no mandatory registration check by these players and there were unregistered restaurants supplying through these apps.
